Etna is located in north-eastern Sicily and has been active since time immemorial. At 3350 metres, ETNA is the highest volcano in Europe and, due to its continuous eruptions, one of the most active in the world. Etna extends over a perimeter of about 210 km and a surface area of 1600 square kilometres. During periods of intense eruptive activity, lava can pour out of hundreds of adventitious craters on the flanks of the volcano, these craters are collected in more than 260 eruptive systems.

An excursion to ETNA is a must for anyone coming to Sicily, interesting both from a landscape and geological point of view. Here, a modern cable car will take you to an altitude of 2,500 metres in 20 minutes and then to an altitude of 2,920 metres in special all-terrain vehicles, where you will visit the most fascinating places on the volcano accompanied by Etna guides.
